Overview:
An E-Commerce Manager is a key player in the digital retail landscape, responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive online sales and enhance the overall customer experience. This role involves overseeing the company's online presence, managing the e-commerce platform, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals in the rapidly evolving e-commerce industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall e-commerce strategy in alignment with business objectives.

- Oversee the e-commerce platform, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for conversions.
- Collaborate with IT or web development teams to implement updates and improvements.
- Manage the online product catalog, ensuring accurate and compelling product listings.
- Implement merchandising strategies to highlight key products and promotions.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute online marketing campaigns.
- Utilize digital marketing channels, such as social media, email, and search engine optimization, to drive traffic and sales.
- Focus on improving the overall online shopping experience for customers.
- Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze e-commerce sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use data insights to identify trends, optimize product offerings, and make informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and inventory teams to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent stockouts.
- Implement inventory management strategies to minimize overstock and optimize stock turnover.
- Ensure secure and efficient payment processes for online transactions.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement and maintain secure payment gateways.
- Manage relationships with e-commerce platform providers, payment processors, and other relevant vendors.
- Explore and negotiate partnerships that can enhance the e-commerce ecosystem.
- Stay abreast of mobile commerce trends and ensure a seamless mobile shopping experience.
- Optimize the e-commerce platform for mobile devices to cater to the growing mobile user base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, e-commerce, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in e-commerce management or a related role.
- Strong understanding of online retail trends, technologies, and customer behavior.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using e-commerce analytics tools.
