Roles & Responsibilities

 

As an HR Officer based in Qatar, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire range of HR activities within the company. Your role will involve handling various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include:


 

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates for various positions.

Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.

Conduct new employee orientation and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.


 

Compensation and Benefits:

Assist in managing the compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and employee benefits.

Conduct benchmarking and market research to ensure competitiveness in compensation packages.


 

HR Policies and Procedures:

Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

Communicate policies and procedures effectively to employees and ensure understanding and compliance.


 

Performance Management:

Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback sessions.

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.

Identify performance gaps and develop appropriate strategies for improvement.


 

HR Administration and Compliance:

Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including employee files, contracts, and HR databases.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

Prepare HR reports and analyze HR metrics to provide insights for decision-making.


 

Employee Relations:

Promote positive employee relations and maintain a healthy work environment.

Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

Interpret and enforce company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with labor laws.


 

Training and Development:

Identify training and development needs within the organization.

Plan and coordinate training programs and initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Monitor training effectiveness and evaluate the impact on employee performance.


 

Employee Engagement and Well-being:

Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.

Promote employee well-being programs and initiatives, including health and wellness activities.



 

Desired Candidate Profile

 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications are advantageous.

Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role.

In-depth knowledge of Qatari labor laws and regulations.

Familiarity with HR best practices and industry trends.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
