Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Iranian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Iranian cuisine, have a deep understanding of traditional Iranian cooking techniques, and be able to create authentic and delicious Iranian dishes. The Iranian Chef will be responsible for planning and executing our Iranian menu, ensuring food quality and consistency, and managing the kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
Develop and update the Iranian menu, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Prepare and cook a variety of Iranian dishes, including kebabs, stews, rice dishes, and desserts, following traditional recipes and techniques.
Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Iranian kitchen, including managing kitchen staff, scheduling, and inventory control.
Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in the kitchen and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Monitor food costs, portion sizes, and waste to maximize profitability.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in Iranian cooking techniques and recipes.
Consistently deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing outstanding Iranian cuisine.
Experiment with new ingredients and techniques to create innovative Iranian dishes while preserving traditional flavors.
Work closely with the restaurant management team to coordinate menus and promotions.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be available locally and can join immediately.
Proven 4 year experience as an Iranian Chef or Sous Chef in a reputable restaurant or culinary establishment.
In-depth knowledge of Iranian cuisine, including regional variations and traditional cooking methods.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
Excellent leadership and management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
