Overview:

An Operations Supervisor is a frontline management role responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day activities within an organization. This position involves managing a team, optimizing processes, and ensuring that operational goals are met efficiently. Operations Supervisors play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and facilitating effective communication within the operational team.

Responsibilities:

   - Supervise and lead a team of operational staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching.

   - Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and address any performance issues.

   - Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency measures.

   - Streamline workflows to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

   - Ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day operations in accordance with established procedures and policies.

   - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational performance.

   - Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skill sets and workload.

   - Optimize resource utilization to meet operational goals.

   - Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products or services meet established standards.

   - Address and rectify any issues related to product or service quality.

   - Facilitate communication within the team and across departments.

   - Act as a liaison between upper management and frontline staff to convey important information.

   - Conduct training sessions for new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff.

   - Identify skill gaps and develop plans for professional development within the team.

   - Ensure that safety protocols and regulations are followed in all operational activities.

   - Collaborate with safety officers and relevant authorities to maintain a safe working environment.

   - Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to operations.

   - Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience in operational processes.

    - Generate and analyze reports on operational performance.

    - Maintain accurate documentation of operational processes, procedures, and key metrics.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is a plus).

-Proven experience in E-commerce/Retail

- Proven experience in a supervisory or similar operational role.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and best practices.
