Job Description


A Sales Manager in the e-commerce industry is a leadership role focused on driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies, team management, and client relationships. This position involves overseeing the sales team, developing sales plans, and collaborating with other departments to meet and exceed sales targets in the dynamic and competitive online retail space.


   - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.

   - Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.

   - Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members.

   - Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages goal achievement.

   - Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the customer base.

   - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and e-commerce partners.

   - Implement strategies to retain existing customers and drive repeat business.

   - Develop sales forecasts and budgets and monitor actual performance against targets.

   - Provide regular reports to the executive team on sales metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

   - Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

   - Provide input on product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

   - Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce.

   - Optimize the use of the e-commerce platform to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.

   - Work to continuously improve the online shopping experience for customers.

   - Address customer feedback and concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

   - Manage the sales budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI.

   - Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of sales initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.


Knowledge of how to use the Odoo system (ERP)

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).

- Proven experience in e-commerce sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, technologies, and industry best practices.
