Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial activities of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. They provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support effective decision-making, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize financial performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage the organization's budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights into the organization's financial performance.
  • Monitor key financial indicators, assess risk, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assist in strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand financial needs and objectives and provide financial guidance and support.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure the organization's financial stability.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial fraud.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other external partners.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives, investments, and cost-saving measures.
  • Participate in the development of financial policies and procedures.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be available in Qatar with valid RP and transferrable NOC.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • Proven (8 years) experience in financial management, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information.
  • Adaptability to changing financial landscapes and business environments.
