Utilize laboratory equipment and tools to carry out precise measurements and analyses.
Data Recording and Reporting:
Record all quality control test results accurately and maintain organized documentation.
Prepare detailed reports summarizing test findings, deviations from specifications, and any corrective actions taken.
Food Safety Compliance:
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
Monitor critical control points (CCPs) to prevent potential food safety hazards and take appropriate actions when deviations occur.
Process Monitoring and Improvement:
Collaborate with production teams to monitor key process parameters and ensure consistency in product quality.
Identify areas for process improvement to enhance product quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
Calibration and Maintenance:
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment regularly to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Notify the Manager of any equipment malfunctions or deviations.
Training and Communication:
Train production line staff on quality control procedures and quality requirements.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to share quality-related information and resolve any quality-related issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Candidate must be available in Qatar and able to join immediately.
A college diploma or equivalent is required, and relevant coursework or certifications in food science, chemistry, or quality control are advantageous.
5year Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment or quality control role is desirable.
Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 22000) is beneficial.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing methodologies used in food quality control is preferred.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records are crucial.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
Effective communication skills are necessary to convey test results and collaborate with different departments.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic production environment are important for success in this role.
